SCTA END OF THE YEAR PARTY:
We are looking forward to seeing you Friday, June 24th from 3pm-6pm at Blue Point Brewery. Please send $5 via building PONY to the SCTA Office by June 15th with your name and building to RSVP. NEWLY ELECTED EXECUTIVE REPS:
At the June SCTA General Assembly meeting we conducted our Executive Rep elections. We are proud to announce the election of Katie Trentowski as the Elementary Executive Representative, Megan Amy as the Middle School Executive Representative, and Jen Conti as the High School Executive Representative. We look forward to closely working with them for our 2022-23 school year!
COVID TESTING REQUIREMENT:
Unfortunately, NYS has extended section 2.62 and 2.9 which continues weekly COVID testing requirement until 6/30/2022. Once we hear from NYS that this mandate has been lifted for school employees, we will reach out as soon as possible. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

On behalf of the Sachem Central School District, a letter has been sent to Governon Hochul with respect to educational concerns related to Grades 3-8 State testing, the 2022 spring Regents exams and APPR requirements.
NYSUT Humanitarian Award
At the 2022 NYSUT Representative Assembly, NYSUT will announce the creation of the state wide NYSUT Humanitarian Award in honor of Matthew "Dezy" DiStefano.
